I sent Greg a couple pics of the Bolles Harbor channel and it's markers that go out into the lake. Hopefully he'll post 'em up soon. Keep those boats between the markers!!

I just called the Comfort Inn and reserved a room for Bird Dog and myself. Be sure to ask for the Fisherman's Special, as the guy tried to give me a different rate. If you have any problems, be sure to mention the Manager's name that I posted earlier in this thread.
I booked Friday and Saturday nights. Hard to believe that we are only 6 weeks away!!

Hey guys as another note for this event. Brest Bay Marina (734)289-1234 is north of TBM and right on ....you guessed it Brest Bay!! They always have transient slips available and have their own launch....and you can be fishing in 2 minutes from the dock. Just a heads up for anyone that is interested in fishing further north from Bolles. Look forward to seeing you all for the weekend!! best,

Fishing was great through the entire season last year...that 2003 yr. class of fish numbers around 30 million or so...and there were a lot of them around later in the summer.
Don't hesitate to try and put a trip together at anytime over the summer.

Coz maybe we could go over together later in the year if you'd like to. I could take my boat over again. Maybe we could get Reid and Jamoke to make the sacrifice of coming along so you would feel almost like it was smackdown weekend. The Erie guys would be there anyway. What do you think?
If we have another fall like the last two...I would strongly recommend Halloween or shortly thereafter...
The Vermilion/Huron area (just another hour drive east) has BIG fish that time of year...and a lot of them. I know that runs into your LBDN time...but basically when the water starts to cool...the pigs move back to the west a bit from the East end of Erie.
I'd be happy to come along as your smiling, space-eating guide.
