Bottom painting, sounds like a project for Clark. Seeing as how he drafted you and called your yacht a "barge".

Perch should not be difficult to locate...they are there, it's just that everyone is focused on the walleyes!!

Turnaround or the Light House would be good..but that's OH water, and some guys won't have OH licenses.

Not like perch are afraid to cross state lines though...

Terry likes beer? I never noticed. hahaha

That would be awesome to have Terry come out for this!

For those of you that don't know, Terry (Green Machine) is blind and has 1.5 arms. But, he is still one of the best fishermen around. And he is an absolute riot to fish with. If the fishing is slow, describe some spoons to him and let him come up with his own spoon name based on your description....just make sure there are no kids around.

Coz,

Shouldn't be a problem, seeing as how he'll know a couple guys (Jamoke, Reid) that'll be over here.

How does a blind, 1.5 armed guy drive? LOL

LOL G turning the clickers off on terry is great, you should hear what he blames coz for then!!1 I would let Terry drive my boat during harbor patrol if he would, he drives a lot straighter than some people I know that allegedly can see- example Special Ed, Bob Vohl and an Illinois person that will remain nameless...

Ok...the participation list for the Walleye Smackdown is growing...I'll post up who I know is coming, and hope that I am not leaving anyone out. For those on this list, please PM me regarding your open seat availability if I have made an error, or you would like the list to indicate more/less seats.

Captain Open Seats

Chip Greene Full boat

Broken String ??

Little Dandy At least 2

Chinookeith 1-2 (?)

Jamoke (2)

Bender 2-3

Conman 1-2

IntheNet (?)

Snagg (?)

Walleyhunter (1-2)

ReelNaughty (?)

Roamer (?)

Several folks still need rides (Greg, Tom, Jen, et al), and I'm sure this list will grow as well. Not to worry..seems that we'll have plenty of boats if needed (we hope!) Rumor has it that Big Papa is trying to make it, and that Vince is trying to set up a "ringer" captain for Greg et al.

I was also contacted by a charter captain out of Brest Bay that would like to offer his boat for both days. He can take 4-6 people per trip. 27' Baha..

Now that folks...is one HELL of an offer!

Hal had informed me the other day that he would be contacting the TBM office in regards to the picnic area for our use. I will stop by the Stadium Club tonight and speak to the manager to give them a heads up about the event.

I'll contact the major hotels in the area and see about getting a package rate.

I will be there. IF Lori and Breanne come, I will bring the boat. If they don't come, I will fish with Little Dandy. I can bring the boat if we need the capacity, so one way or the other, I have a ride at this point.

Paul -

Tell Lori to plan on making the trip. I'll be there and I would be surprised if my sisters, niece and nephew weren't around.

I think BFT and the twins will be coming up for the cookout. She can advise on any and all shopping information that is requested. Lord knows...she's an Educated Shopper...

Manager was unavailable at the Stadium Club last night. There are two hotels right off exit 11 (La Plaisance road) that would offer good spots for out of town folks to stay. Comfort Inn and Amerihost. The Comfort Inn looks to be brand new.

More to come for sure...

I like to fish with 5 max. Here's my crew as it stands right now... If you're listed and you find out you can't make it, PM me. If I missed someone, PM me.

Friday:
BFG
Chinookeith
RedRider
+ one regular
+ Me

Saturday:
Whaler
Salmonhead (maybe)
+ two regulars
+ Me

If Salmonhead brings his boat, I could have room for one more on Saturday. I could also run two trips on Friday and/or Saturday. Sunday, I'm going to play by ear for now.

Mike,

If Keith, Reid, and Shirley come over on Thursday night, then you'll have more seats open come Friday morning, as Keith is bringing his Hewey. I can go either way on Friday, but I had originally told Keith that I would fish with him for the weekend (Sat-Sun) and that has not changed.

If the weather cooperates, and since we have all day on Friday to fish...we might want to consider a run up past Pt. Mouillee...start up there off the Banana Dike in 20fow and then just troll south for a few hours.

Now wouldn't that be fun...how many releases do you say you have???

LOL

Great to hear that Salmonhead (and possibly Midgit and Little Raptorette) will be attending. Woooohooooo Paulie!!!
