What does everyone do for spoon storage on their boat? I use all the individaul plano clear plastic boxes and sort by similar colors but am looking for a better way where I can see more of them. Another question would be how does everyone store their meat rigs?

checkout this link. This is the box that holds the larger spoons.
I have been using the smaller box for my walleye spoons for 2 years now and love it.No spilling and tangles when the box gets dropped . Great product in my arsenal.

better picture of that box - that looks pretty cool - salmon spoons need to go in at an angle.

Only 60 spoons, man I would need at least 10 of them but it does look nice.

I had the special mate and it worked great on the old boat but havent figured where to keep them in the current boat.I have tipped it over a few times and as long as you have the lid fastened no mess but if you dont have it fastened

We have several special mates and it's a good system ... however I imagine they'd be pretty hard to find a place to keep them on small to mid size boats

I have a small boat and a limited spoon collection. I use a Flambeau Big Mouth Bait Box http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=49464.

Magnum spoons fit in it and don't fly all over the place when the box tips over as long as the lid is closed.

So the same could be accomplished as above with the extra large box from Plano (or others) and then cutting a piece of styrofoam to fit the bottom? Maybe Tyvek would make for a better (more dense)holding material? Most Mag spoons are about 4 3/4" long, give or take...so it still might not work for them.

I've seen Capt. Dewayne's spoon box..and it is very cool. Weird thing though...60 spoons in there but only about 4 different patterns...I like that!

LOL

Hook em pads are great and for meat rigs and flies try the rig bag from bass pro. Just roll up the meat rig or leader on the fly and they fit in a zip lock that is in the rig bag. Just thumb thru it to find the color or rig you want. Very easy.I think the large bag will hold about 25 meat rigs and its about 20 bucks.

I agree bw - we use the biggest soft plastic storage cases that we could find

they keep - meat rigs, flies, cowbells, spin-n-glow rigs, whatever - and you can jam the bags full - work great!
