It seems 10oz is a tad light for downrigger weight. At least where I fish. Willis

Need a very very small downrigger!

When I run them I will attach the weight to the line by snapping it in the upper eyelet. Then off of the fin I attach a leader that is the length of the rod that I will be running it on and a snap swivel to the bait.I have run them down the chute and off boards.I do know that there are a few who are using them as a snap wieght but I havent.Terry has them now in 4 wieghts 10 oz,14oz,18oz and 24oz.Greg I have 2 of each for you that I will bring to Birch Run.There are A few guys that run the hell out of them but with my lack of regular boat drivers I dont run them as much as I should As I have a bad habit of getting them into the swrs. The 18s and 24s should work well when it comes time to go deep. They are both new this year, the others have been in use for 3-4 years.
