BFG & I made it out for a little fishing this morning. Left the dock at 7:30 and headed out to 15 FOW just on the inside edge of the pack to check for fish. There were enough fish lighting up the screen to get me interested so we turned downwind and dropped the bags over the side. Set out lines at 7:45 with purple spoons as that was the word around the docks. Everybody was saying clear jet divers but we didn't have enough so we just used the big jon mini-divers. Didn't matter. We pulled our last fish at 9:30 and headed in.

We were using the Dreamweaver WD spoons. Grape Jelly (#65024), Hot Rod (#65014) and Blue Melon (#65022) were all fish killers. Fishing 40' from the tow line to the divers. We stayed on the inside edge of the pack and were trolling between TBM & Bolles in 14 to 16 FOW.

Pictures to follow shortly. Thanks for lunch Clark!

Nice job. We were out of town for the weekend, so I didn't make it out. What was the avg size of the fish? Were the white bass a pain? Want to hit it hard this weekend. Thanks.

The fish were all in the 16-19 inch range. No throwbacks, though we did measure 2 that were 16 to be sure. Probably boated around 15 bass.

Glitch in either card reader or software is preventing me from downloading the pictures right now. Hopefully soon.

I think I boated 15 when Mike wasn't looking...

Thanks for the invite Mike. Good to be out on the big pond again.

Sure can Tony....I was deeply entrenched in multiple thoughts when LD snuck up on me and snapped that pic...

"I wonder if BigWeenie understands what I mean now when I told him his hats don't fit my big head...."

"I'm going to show Mike how to detect strikes by holding onto the line like Bill Dance..."

"This Ohio State pullover, while SWEEEEEEEEET...makes me look fat..."

"Just how many guys will we pass that are trolling bottom bouncers at 1.0mph?"

"45 minutes and 8 walleyes in the box....2 to go..."

"I wonder if Mike brought the Vodka?"
