Ideas for a rocket launcher.

I am working on ideas for a rocket launcher for my 33 tiara. It has a soft top with a radar arch. The problem is that there is not very much room with the radar and the antenas that are already mounted. I am trying to not make the boat into swiss cheese, otherwise I would just move the antenas forward. I have looked at atlantic towers site and did not find exactly what I was looking for. If anybody had a referral for somebody local (west michigan) to make a custom rocket launcher I would appreciate the info. I have already had a horrible experience with one local guy so references would be great. Thanks Brant

I know Towers Unlimited in Zeeland does a great job, but often times has a long backlog of work. I know Greg and Tom got their rocket launcher made by Lakeside Marine in Port Clinton, Ohio. Although not local, they are a Tiara dealer and surely have all the measurements to fabricate what you are looking for remotely. Like Towers Unlimited, they also do a top notch job and it certainly looks great on Experience Outdoors.

Brant, Towers Unlimited in Zeeland did mine. AWESOME JOB!!! Worth the wait! You can search in the pic section under The Saint and see it for yourself. Also there is a Tiara Factory guy that can do it... His name is Chris and does all of the factory repairs. He also lives in Grand Haven. Give him a call and tell him Vince sent you. His # is 616-638-5388.

Vince

Thanks for the input. I am going to avoid Towers unlimited. I appreciate the quality of work that he does, but I already had a rotten experience with him. Brant

Brant, I can highly recommend Lakeside Marine in Port Clinton, OH. As Tim mentioned, they built the rocket launcher for EO and we are delighted with it. It fit perfectly, was fairly inexpensive and they got it done quickly. Although they aren't local to West Michigan, they brought the rocket launcher to their St. Clair Shores (Lake St. Clair) office and we picked it up there. They had a 3600 Open on site and were able to use it as a measuring template. I'm sure they have ready access to 3300 Opens for measuring as well.

BTW, we saw "Cityfish" many times during the GHOC tournament...great looking boat...and a very clever name too! Congratulations!

Tom
