We launched at Sterling and fished from 2:30 until about 8:00. We worked 28 feet for the first seven fish and when it got a little slow we worked 16 ft in Brest bay. Trolling with the waves from the SE in 27 ft, we worked dipsys with spoons 85 - 100 ft back and 100 ft seemed the best. Anything with purple. After the slow period and the repositioning into 16 ft, we worked the spoons 45 - 60 ft. back. We got 5 more in the bay for a total of 12 and a nice bonus was my son caught a 5 lb smallie and a 7 1/2 wally on the same day! We almost stayed and tried for the limit, but the boys wanted to go party. They're both 26.
