First off, congrats to team Hot Rods on pulling out back-to-back in the Shootout. And a special thanks to the tournament organizers for all their hard work.

Thursday morning I pulled into Bluffers around 5:30am after the 4 hour drive. My Dad pulled the boat over Wednesday. We were on the water and running east toward Pickering/Whitby at about 6. Setup shop and popped a nice fish right away and then nothing for 3 hours. Pulled and moved. Nothing again. Pulled and moved. Nothing again. Time to go check-in to the hotel so we pulled and went back to bluffers. Finished the day going 1 for 2 and went thru some 50 gallons of gas.

Thursday evening we set up off the Filtration plant and had very steady pickings on Adult Kings. 90-160 FOW fishing down 60-100. Here is the 25 and half I picked up on Thursday eveing.

Friday we set up in the same area as Thursday evening. Made one long trolll from the Filtration to Leslie and popped adult Kings all along the way in 90-110 FOW. Made an out troll to 200 FOW and then back to the filtration plant in 200 FOW and pulled adults out there too. Had 20 good adult king bites and we thought we had found a spot to put 6 fish together. Here is our largest from Friday.

Saturday we slowly made our way to our spot and got all rods rigged up. It was super slow and we only had 2 fish at noon. Finally we found a pod of fish out in 170-200 FOW off the Filtration plant, but they were juvinal kings and steelhead. We found 6 fish, but only 2 adult kings. We finished in around ~14th place.

I had to run back home right after getting back to shore for a charity cancer dinner for a friend of mine who is not doing to well.
