Hello all,

Currently I have been using Round 12 lbs cannonballs cause my Cannon Mag10's are pretty lazy.

I was wondering what the Pro Staffers were using?

I am considering using something a bit heavier, but it will most likely require me to upgrade my riggers too. Fishing down to 100ft, I am happy with the 12 pounders, but going deeper than that I kind of think the blowback gets worse and worse.

I personally run 14# round weights with a fin. The extra 2# really seems to make a difference when targeting depths below 100'.

It was tough to get the heavier weights for awhile when Tru Trac closed their doors, but now that the molds and other equipment is back up and running under Yeck Lures there is again a reliable source for them.

On Team EO, we use 14# finned weights on the corners and a 14# ball with a fin on the chute. Our weights are made by Jim-Bob out of Muskegon and are also marketed by Stinger. You can buy them at Captain Gary's

Mike, I run from 9lb pancake to 15 lb Fin weights to 10 lb Sharks. In the spring I give the riggers a break and run 9lb mid season til mud I go with the big fins on the out downs and round ball on the shoot. The chrome sharks I use in the mud. The fins and balls are Jim Bobs yellows. Hope this helps.
