Salmonhead will be there late late friday night, like midnight or thereabout. I have Brant (cityfish) and Greg (t3pt6k) on board. I have room for 1-3 anglers if need be. Verdict looks like he can't make it and Flatrate had to bail also due to prior commitment. I would like 4-6 people on board.

Will be departing TBM at 5 am or much later, like 7 am or whenever we get up and moving, fishing and having a fantastic time, returning to port with a full box of walleye and likely a buzz, and a sore stomach from laughing.

Fishing Contest

For those of you who like a little fun competition, we are suggesting two contests for Saturday:

5 Biggest Walleyes of the Day (by weight)

Fee per Boat: $20.00

100% Payout, with number of places based on the number of boats participating. For example:
• 3 boats, 1st place only
• 4 to 5 boats, 1st and 2nd places
• 6 to 10 boats, 1st through 3rd places
A complete payout chart will be available at the event.

Biggest Walleye of the Day (by weight)

Fee per Boat: $5.00

100% Payout, 1st place only.

Sign-up and fee collection will be on Friday evening in the Smackdown Event Tent at Toledo Beach Marina. If you wish to participate but cannot be there to sign up on Friday evening, please email Mike (Little Dandy) by Tuesday, June 3 at 8:00 p.m., or send him a PM on EA. Your fee must be submitted prior to the weigh-in on Saturday.

Weigh-in will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Event Tent.

In case of a small craft advisory on Saturday, we will postpone the competition until Sunday, and conduct the weigh-in from 11:30 a.m. to noon. If you cannot stay to fish on Sunday, your contest fee will be refunded.

Without re-reading the entire thread, I think the dock departure is no earlier than 5 am. Tacklemaster will correct me if I'm wrong here, but I believe the charters usually leave the docks around 7 am for morning trips.

Unlike salmon, you don't need to be out with lines in the water before sunrise. Erie 'eyes will bite throughout the day, some days better than others.

All that said, I believe LD & crew will leave the docks around 6:30 to 7:30. Coffee required, donuts optional.

Roy, check with Ryan and see what time he's planning to leave the docks.

It is looking great guys. I just got word from another fisher, Bob Weis, that he will be towing up from KY his 25 ft trophy for the festivities too. He'll be bringing his son Rob and another crewman.

It's shaping up to be a great get-together!!

Anyone who would like to donate fish for the fish fry on Saturday is more than welcome to do so. I've got about 5# in the refrigerator at home thawing for the weekend, but could add a bit more if necessary.

Talked to the Cheeseheads this morning..they were rolling through Chicago...ETA sometime early this afternoon.

See you all very soon. Drive safe...

The Charter Boats leave 7am from TMB.

I'll be cleaning fish for a dollar a fish. I'll clean and bag then and haul guts to the pit for that. I don't have a trip on Saturday so I can clean fish all day.

As long as Tacklemaster puts us on some fish we will have a bunch for the fish fry. The guys that don't normally catch them won't have to donate much. I will have Good humor Ice cream treats to donate. I could not get my boss to donate a Rolls or Bentley as a door prize. He did offer a Hyundai but I declined.
