I talked my cousin last night who works for the Coast Guard in Manistee. He said that they were out testing their small boat and got tangled in a floating net south of the peirhead. They had to call out the big boat just to get them untangled. Its scarry to think that the people who are there to save lives are having problems with the nets also. I also heard a rumor that none of the 21 nets that were set north of Big Sable Point are accounted for. Just be careful out there.
