could only fish for about 2.5 hours due to JD leaving from Germany, undecided wheather to troll of jig, we took the southern route and jigs up some eyes...put 27 eyes in the box, if we coulda stayed a little longer, we woulda took our 5 man limit, but still a great time...caught two nice perch and a handful a silvers

purple/chrome blade baits took the majority of our fish....

Corey,
We fished Sunday from just S of A can and trolled North up to W Sister. Lotsa boats jigging near A can and only a handful of boats trolling. We didn't see one net from another boat hit the water. We fished cranks, crawler harnessess, and spoons. The few junkers and 2 walleyes we got all came off spoons.
The radio traffic confirmed that it wsa a slow day on the Lake. Thunderbolt ran like a top!!!!!!!

May get out Sunday. Have fun on your vacation!!!!

Chris

too bad you are just now asking...i think we are about to hang it up for the year...those fish are slowly moving off the humps and heading to deeper waters...we hit all our fish in 11FOW this weekend...the weekend before we fished as shallow as 3FOW ! ! ! you set the hook and the eye was splashing the surface, ya didn't even have to reel at all...LoL

next year, get ahold of us in march/april....all depending on the weather...we will give you some education on jiggin em up Erie style....

Going down to handline the river tomorrow. Buddies have been hitting them in upper Detroit river pretty good this week. Ever been handlining? I'd love to see the jigging in the lake!
