Started handlining the upper river on the Canadian side around noon Friday. It was very dirty. We started at Peche island and worked our way down to statue park at the foot of the ambassador bridge by 4 p.m. We had only two fish. We caught one there and continued to work until 5:30. It was the only clean water. From 5:30 to 6:30 we caught 10 more for our canadian limit and had to release the extra. All fish came on #7 and #9 rapalas with the clown catching the most fish.
