Has anyone tried the new Slide Diver Lite Bite yet? How do they perform? Any comments?

I know that Salmonhead has been running them all spring and I think he has been impressed. They seem pretty easy to adjust.

I do like them a lot. You can set the main release arm to the rod very heavy so it won't pop in waves and yet have the secondary arm set pretty light so even an 8" french fry can trip it free. Really cool. Definately worth having a few on the boat and rigged and ready to go.

As an update, the light bites are great for "Harbor Patrol". We had some cold water in place a couple weeks ago and the lite bites were great inside pulling plugs. Again, the heavy setting to the rod is great for really tight corners, but the trip arm to the lure allows the fish to knock off. Couple that with the ability to run long leads in the shallow water and you have a winner.
Very nice.
