Headed out and set lines about 3 pm at in 180fow north of the channel. First fish hit on braided dipsy 160 back with white and blue SD and blue bubble. Smallish king. We were about in 210 fow when 7 color hit with carmel dolphin magnum lost that one. Shortly after that
five color hit with orange killer stinray another small
king. So within the first hour we were 2-3, Then it got quiet. Had a couple of releases with nothing, moved in and started marking fish like crazy in 160-180 fow. Had two big hits on dipsy one got off the other broke the line between the dipsy and SD, the one we caught our first fish on. Looks like a trip to the tackle shop. After a couple more releases with nothing there
picked up one more about 8 pm 70 down on moonshing yellow flounder, headed in at 8:30 with 3 for alot that got off. Seemed like a really light bite that night, I've never had so many releases and fish on then get off (weird), also could not beleive how many fish we marked at that depth in 100 foot and above and nothing was hammering rods. Well good luck to the rest of ya,

Jeff
