Kelly Smith , the head of the Michigan Fisheriers Division's wife , Jan Fenske passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. Jan worked at the Charlevoix Fisheries Station as a Fisheries Biologist and as a coordinator with FERK in Lansing and on the Natural Rivers Program in Gaylord. We , the Michigan Steelheaders want to pass along our thoughts and prayers to the family.

My wife and I lost two relatives this past week ourselves and understand the pain it the lost of a loved one. From my wife and I, may god help guide her in her new journey. May he also help her husband, family, and friends throught this tought time of understanding God's larger plan for us all.

My prayers are with them, God bless everyone.
