Does anyone make their own three fly/squid bait rigs for cut bait? If so, what materials do you use, where do you get them and are there any other specifics you can pass on about the actual assembly? Thanks, I need a project!

There are a number of places to get the materials for building the rigs. If you need more info, hollar..
What I have found to be most beneficial in tieing my own is the use of the string style bobber stops for setting the distance between the twinks. No line damage, and if needed they can be moved after prewetting of the line. I found the crimps to be a PITA compared to the bobber stops... Also, tie on a snap at the last twink, then attach your bait head rig to the snap.. Keeps from having to retie the whole assembly after every king chews it up

perhaps I should make some of these too.
I suppose I should add meat to my arsenal.
I don't have enough to try yet.

I do tie my own and use 2" squids or flies (peanut sized) as the twinkies. A glow head can be inserted in the squids and I use a bead behind each and a crimp sleeve to hold them in place on 40-50 lb seagar floro leader. Rhy Davis heads at the end with double size 5 Gammy red octopus hooks.
