Some of you folks have already seen these but a friend is making these weights. This is the 11 ounce version.I am picking up the new 14 ounce versions to get powder coated today.

I've got mine right in front of me and they are an excellent idea. If you guys ever need a field tester for a kelly Green one and a white one(I'd add pearlscale tape to the fin) I'll step up and volunteer my services.

I like the idea of a lighter weight getting to the same depth as a heavier one. Another thing that has crossed my mind is What if the action of a dodger gets the fin on the weight wiggling? The chain reaction might be explosive! I can't wait to test the theory on some wire.

Ned
The way I plan on running them is directly in line. Swivel to front eye/Fishlander or Wolverine snubber from rear eye/6-10' leader to lure. You could also use them on a three way rig or with a snap weight release. The only difference between these and a pound ball is that they are actually lighter in weight, but still achieve the same depth.
