WOW nice fish is right.

Now night fishing is something I have not had the chance to do on the big lake. How well do you guys do after the sun goes down? I would assume mostly glow stuff is used.

My experience (though limited) has been that the first half hour of darkness is decent, after that.....not much.....

I have fished all night on several occasions both from the piers and in a boat. The 1st hour after dark can be hot, along with the two hours before first light. In between is one here, one there if anything at all. Glows and plain blacks are my best no light to very dim light.

Great fish!!! Nice to see all these big boys coming in so early in the year after having nothing but runts last year.

The old "pop the rigger and let it rise to the surface" technique works well. I usually end up with lakers that way, though, not hitting paydirt like you did!
