I just want to say how MUCH I appreciate this sight and how much it improved my fishing out of Ludington this season. EVERYONE here is SOOO awesome in the help that they give to newcomers like me. In 2004 the most fish we caught on a single day was 3. I found this sight and started reading how "Educated" you all are on the art of catching these awesome fish. My family actually had 30 minute fights on fish. We have enough fish in the freezer and canned to last a LONG time and we gave a lot away to our family as well. The LEAST amount of fish we caught this year in one day was 3. Had most of our luck (not really luck anymore thanks to you all) to the north by the bank and point around the nets (they suck). Anyone else feel the same way that I do, PLEASE let all that read and respond to this forum know. This is exactly what makes us better fisherman and teaches us techniques that we may well miss while others catch the fish. I know. I have been there with board kids on the boat who watched a fish or 2 landed in an all day trip.
Look forward to this forum during the winter. It will keep my family and I from pulling our hair out from cabin fever this winter.
You guys (and gals) are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so happy to hear you had a great season, and I agree there are some of the best people on the net here for sure. I also had my best year salmon fishing and have to tip my hat to everyone who is willing to share info, experiment, and enjoy this great sport fishery.
