What device can you add to your boat to determine fuel consumption?

ray marine makes a nice "flow scan" its a small gauge you install in the dash and add a sensor to the fuel line back on the engine. many of the newer motors have the electronics on the engine allready you just add the gauge to the dash . merc calls it a smart gauge .honda calls thiers a digital gauge package . for exanple my 225 honda burns .6 gals of gas per hour @ 2.8mph troll and at wot 51mph we burn 17 gal per engine on a 27.5 foot boat
