I just wanted to post pictures of the new line of plugs that are going to be out at the Birch Run show. I would like some serious input on these. Good or Bad it would be greatly appreciated as with any suggestions. They are all extended glow plugs. There are 12 pics in the gallery. 6 are glow and 6 are of them not glowing. In order to view them go to my gallery and click on the extended glow plugs gallery. Or use this link. All plugs will come standard with the double bead chain and 1/0 red treble VMC's. http://www.educatedangler.com/cmgallery/thumbnails.php?album=51
Thanks everyone, Curt

Cool. We need some more details. What size are the plugs? Are you making them yourself or painting another blank? Will they come in more than one size? Where can us WI type fisher people get some? How much will they cost? How long does the extended glow glow for?
Can you do a wonderbread without the yellow head, all glow with spots. That’s been one of the best custom plugs I’ve had for the past two seasons.
How’s that for a string of questions?
Good stuff. Dave

Dave, Good questions!! We are buying the blanks and painting them ourselves. They are equivelant to a size 4 Jplug. I'm working on another style plug right now also. They are all extended glow. The reds and oranges will only glow about 45min. and then they start to fade. But the rest of the colors will last around 3hrs. As far as custom colors we haven't decided to do that yet. Were just launching the line now. So were kinda busy getting everything in order. The head on the wonderbread actually glows green. The plugs will be available on the site soon. As far as price we haven't set it yet but it will be competitive.
Thanks for the input, Curt

Just to give credit where credit is due, I may have taken pictures of the harnesses, but Wingnut gave me the idea. Regardless, the double bead chain is a superior hook harness system while out on the water. no more hooks impailing the dacron line or getting it stuck up the back of the treble.
