That pretty much sums it up for me, get me out on the water, away form the cell phone, computers and clients and let me do some fishing with the people who are important to me, family and freinds!

Very close to the same way I feel too Frank. The only difference is that it is with my best friend who is also my father. My son is a teenager and I hope he comes around to it again soon.

I had a wonderful experience Sunday evening: the phone rang and it was my 4 year old granddaughter. She was calling her Opa to tell him she caught a BIG FISH in the pond behind her house. The excitement in her voice was almost immeasurable. I asked her what she did with the fish and she informed me she let it go. She then asked what I do with my fish, I told sometimes I let them go and sometimes I eat them. There was a brief pause and then she announced; I don't eat my fish and she said goodbye and hung up. The next day her dad called and said after she hung up she walked around a minute and then said daddy, Opa eats fish in a very disgusted voice. Oh well, more training to do.

These ARE the good old days!

Will,

One day my nephew and neice were looking at a book that had a picture of a deer in it. The instigator nephew decided that he would try to upset my neice. So he began to tell her that her uncle (me) would shoot that deer dead if I saw it in the woods. She was very upset about the discution. Seeing that she was getting upset he continued to instigate with more conversation. Then he informed her that not only do I shoot them, but I also eat them afterwords. Well that was all she needed to hear. With a big smile and a twinkle in her eye, she replied "You can eat them? mmmmmm. That is my god daughter. Good for her.
