Jusr a quick note - good to see a binch of EA members down at the Grand Haven Offshore Challenge - good job by the tourney comittee for the tireless work including Thunderduck, Reel Action, Sea Flea, and everyone else involved.

Pre fishing has been great for some, good for others, but the weather seems to be somewhat stable so fishing should improve through the weekend - atleast we hope so.

Stop by and see al the nice fishing machines down at the Grand Haven Municipal and Chinook Pier and stop by and say hi!

I'm off for some more prefishing!

Day One at the Grand Haven Offshore is over, and Team EO sits in the middle of the pack in the Pro Division. We only managed 6 fish of our 12 today - but we did weigh a very nice steelhead - 14.15#. TheFlea scored well today sitting at or near the top, Saint got his 12 fish and is in the Top 10 after surviving the "Hen House" - you'll have to ask Saint about it. ReelAction, Thunderduck did well as well.

Team Reel Deal, 177+ pts, was in the Top 5 on the AM side - last I checked in third - with Fishigan (not sure if it is mrymar, but likely that it is) in first place today, the last I saw, w/ 190+ pts.

There were many short boxes today based on casual conversations with many of the anglers - but some boats defintely "got'er done" today.

Salmonhead has pictures of the score boards - so hopefully we will get those posted soon.

Thanks Mike that was a tense fight with that fish for sure - going nuts off the back of the boat for quite a while. That was the biggest bow I had in the boat in quite some time.

Sorry. I saw you guys go up for your awards and then got sidetracked having to go to the 333 bus and such, you were sitting jsut below us. Great job out there man - you guys did a heck of a job.

You going to be in Manistee for the Bud Pro/Am?
