Hi all,
Here is my delema. The last two trips out my wire dipsey set up has been really hot. Problem is, I am unable to keep anything hooked. All the fish have come unbuttoned within 15 seconds of the initial rip. I am currently utilizing a DR release (Scotty pad) off the hook keeper on the rod holding the wire and keeping the drag set light. I am also using a Wolverine stealth snubber off the dipsey.
My question is, should I tighten up the drag more so the fish get a better hook up? Any other thoughts?
Thanks for your input,
Bill Brock
