We troll 1.8 - 2.2 mph on the gps with the jets and dipsys...if ya run much slower with the dipsys, they will just sink like a rock, snag the bottom, line frays and snaps, and then ya loose a $20+ dollar setup...I know from experience

We have trolled some crawler harnesses with the dipsys at the same speed, but prefer to use them early or late in the year when we are running at the slower speeds. We run the cranks 0.8 - 1.4 mainly, but have bumped up speeds slighty to get better success...

1.8mph was best speed pulling cranks last Sunday in Brest Bay...
