you may want to atleast put some through-bolts and cap nut them all the way through the arch. In reality they don't take that much stress unless you run with a net or something in them - but jsut holding rods isn't a ton of stress.

We are right here in Fruitport - so if you want an extra set of eyes just give a shout.
