Money pit thanks for the info. I had an old line guide from okuma that i tried to grind out woth a dremel tool, i don't think i will be doing that on my good reels. That is some tough metal and finish.

Thomas i am going to try and call goldcoast. i deal with them a lot. Did you happen to see how she tied the knot? was it an overhand in the copper and like a snell in the mono if you did see it?


if anyone else has any more ideas i am open to suggestions.
