3/5 or 5 fish really doesn't mean a whole lot in the grand scheme of things IMO. If it means that a couple guys can stay out and fish for longer that's fine - but perhaps a boat limit is appropriate solution - there is very little reason why I would need to catch a 5 fish limit for everyone on EO for an outing.

Yes some days are over quick - back to the dock for breakfast type of days - and I understand it if someone was disappointed that they drove hours to do that - but on the other hand they more then likely just had one heck of a morning fishing. Frankly if you are catching at a rate that will end it early - it wont take long to catch the rest of the ticket. Maybe in some ways it's better to have to go pound for lakers or go after steelhead from the sense of prolonging the experience.
