Water in engine

Honda cat was wondering if maybe you could help me out? My 1st time out this year had water in engine my friend winterized it last year and stored it for me Before I Got it out for the year he changed the oil for me He said it started right up for him when he went to check oil pressure We got it to the water it wouldnt roll Vapor locked Took it home changed the oil as there was water in oil Ran it all year long no probelms till end of august when we had to pull plugs and drain block again No water in the oil the 2nd 2 times this happen We compression tested all 6 valves they looked all good Took off exhaust manifolds and water jackets they came back ok any ideas here We ran it all summer long never ran hot missed or anything like that Curious as to what you might think could be wrong Water was in different valves on different sides of the block please help if you can it is a chevy 4.3 engine
