Was looking at JR's thumper rods, was told the guides were made out of tungsten/titanium, not sure which, and they were better than rollers. Am not happy with my present roller rods and was looking at the Blue Diamonds for wire. They are a nice looking rod and the price ( around $90.00 ) for a 9 1/2 footer wasn't too bad. This was at Sportsmans Warehouse in Depere. Need some thoughts and opinions. I have a tendency to pump my rods, so don't tell me I shouldn't! Too old to relearn.
