This thread discusses the Content article: The DNR really can listen to us

Interseting article. I have maintainted that the DNR does genuinly care about management and they do the best with what they have to work with. Talk to anyone in the DNR and they DO care. I get sick of hearing all the negativity. It has to be really hard trying to please 750,000 hunters while keeping the farmers and insurance companies happy. And not to mention keeping the deer heard healthy and doing all that with massive budget shortfalls and lack of personell. I think the DNR should be applauded for what they have accomplished in our state. Certainly there will be bumps along the road, but given the many variables to deal with, I think they do a pretty good job overall.
