Attaching Divers to Wire Line

What is a good way to attach the divers to wire line? I started fishing with wire last year, however I am not sure what is the best method for this set up. I use a large swivel attached to the wire line. I lost a couple of rigs late last year and would like to to do my best to avoid that.

I have heard of crimps being used, to attach the swivel, but was wondering how they could be tied together and eliminate the need for crimps, if possible. Is it a standard fisherman's knot or something different that works the best. Thanks!
