went out from 6am to 1pm. it was the toughest day i've had on that lake. i couldn't catch anything in my best spot at all (last year i caught a limit in 20 minutes in this spot), so i moved to my next best spot, and the water was muddy, and got no bites. i was about ready to leave, but i decided to try another spot, and i found some clear water, and caught 3 keepers in about a half hour, and a few dinks, and then it was time to go. i didn't see any of the 10 other boats on the water boat anything other than bluegills. this post spawn bite can be hard. i caught all the fish on 7" black powerbait worm. one fish was 7 feet deep, the other 2 were around 4 feet deep. the lake has been treated for weeds, and that can kill the fishing in just about any lake. i am going out to lake st. clair on wednesday, probably from like 5am until 6pm, last week i went from 5am to 7:30pm, but this week it is going to be almost 90 degrees on wednesday. if anyone wants to share some gas money, and take a ride on the lake for some smallies, let me know. derrek
