i am gong fishing on sunday, 6/20/04, on st clair (opening weekend). at this time, i don't have a partner, and was interested if anyone wanted to take a ride out there. i always would rather fish with someone, than by myself. always more interesting. even if i am having a bad day, hopefully my partner is catching fish. and i am always willing to learn something new. i haven't found a good pattern on the lake yet this year. i don't know if i am going to try the lake itself, or i may fish the st. clair river. at least if we aren't catching bass, we should catch some walleye. if the bass are in the st. clair river, they are much larger than lake bass. i know that pattern starts to work in early to mid july, so i would like to try it a little sooner to see if the fish are there early this year. however, if someone knows where to catch some smallies next weekend, i wouldn't object to trying somewhere new too. anyone, if there are any takers, let me know as soon as possible so i can make plans. derrek
