Welcome aboard Mike glad to have you join us - to answer your question about FLATRATE's posting I jsut don't think he liked being a alewives, brookie, or brown - he wanted that steelhead rating

Jump in anytime the site was built to do just this - talk about our passion for fishing - no agenda, just fun and friends.

Thanks for the welcome.

You have a boat in Ludington year round?

I have fished there 4-14 days every August for the last 22 years. We used to have an orange 16 footer with four riggers on it. Since we used to stay at the state park, some evening we would just beach it in the river there and head out in the morning. Then in 1986?, my Dad got an 1972 22' Searay that we fished out of till about 3 years ago. Now we have a 25' Searay AJ.

Last year we had the boat in the Municipal from Aug 6 until Sept 20. Lots of fun most weekends, plus a few thursdays and fridays in there too.

nice of me to mispell you handle - doh Sorry about that.

Yeah this will be my third year in Ludington full-time, I'm in Harbor View - and love it there - great facilities but expensive ... oh well. Yeah we had a Grady-White Sailfish 272 until the end of July when we got a new boat - Tiara 3600 Open.

Before that we were in Lexington for a year and Port Huron Municipal before that - oh the lazy cruise down the black river - don't miss that. We will have to hook up when your in town. I'm moving from Royal Oak to Fruitport - place will be done in less than a month. So weekdays are good for me too, about 1 hour from the new place to Harbor View in the parking lot. ahhhhhhh instead of 3.5 hours every weekend from April to October.

What's the name of your boat?

Mike,

The invite for the SeaGrant meeting this Saturday that I received indicates that you can either purchase tickets in advance or at the door. So even if it is a last minute decision, you should have not problem getting in.

I'm hoping to attend on Saturday, but my workload may foil that plan. Hope to see a bunch of people there.

Tim

I'm going to try to make the seagrant meeting as well. I may miss some of the early stuff if I can't get free to drive over on Friday.
