Been fishing Port since Monday evening. Took an invite from Mojorisin' on Monday evening and boxed 5, 4 of which were after the sun went behind the trees on shore. Great to finally meet Joe..and yet another Clarkin' story is on the way...

Spent the last three days with my good buddy Red Rider out of Port fishing 50-80fow. We've landed over 50 fish in 3 days, kicking back a few little guys each day for about a 10 fish per day average. Spoons, spoons, and more spoons have been the ticket. Glow stuff early then shiny stuff once the sun gets up. Riggers and divers in the 30' range have been good in the dark, then the full, half, and 3/4 cores really good between 6:30-8:30am. The bite dies around 9:00 every day for us.

Been damn hot...but the lake has been basically mirror flat.

Once again...another great trip to one of my favorite places on Earth...Port Washington.

More later...off to bed...2:30am wakeup comes early.
