Saturday morning dawned clear and pretty calm. The calmness became a 2' chop pretty quickly. We picked at the fishing going 5 for 6, 2 good kings, one laker, one steelie and a medium king. Big kings both came on SeaWeed Hrorseflies trailing an 11" green E chip. The rest came on Nailers in Mashed bannana glow (12), Blueberry glow (19) and one on a green plug.

After a very short turn around time at the dock, we went out for the afternoon trip and were greeted by rising seas well into the 3-4' range. We ran 8 miles north and planned to ride them back. We got most rods in the water and picked up two small kings, both on horseflies again. Seaweed and seamist. After the seas started tapping 6', missing a couple fish, lots of barfing, the customers claimed no more and we headed in.

Sunday was picture perfect with a light NE wind. We cleared the piers and ran to 50 fow just north. Set up shop and whacked two quickly on the high diver set 60 back with Rasberry Glow (50) northport Nailer. After that, we worked our way south towards the nets and picked away for 4 hours to get our 9 kings. We finished 9 for 12 and flies were hot. All the rest of the action was on Seaweed, Seamist and Atomic Green glow Horse Flies. Flashers were double crush glow (11"), Green E Chip (11" & 8"), Blue E chip (8") and mountain dew E Chip (8"). Our fish were in 50-75 fow and 30-60 down.
