After playing first mate in the morning, Vinnie and I hopped aboard Salmonhead for a couple hour shakedown after my recent work on the boat. (logs suck in 80 fow)
We set up shop in the channel and started ripping fish..... in the middle of the afternoon. Only two small boats inside the piers with us and one boat outside that wouldnt come in. After about 1.5 hours we landed 4 real nice darkie kings all toothed up and slimy, just the way I like them. We also missed 3 and landed a world class sheepie. Seaweed and Mirage Horseflies were the ticket behind mountain dew echip and spinnies. Pearl tomic took two rips on the slide diver. Suffice to say the outdrive is performing properly and I am happy to report increased performace with the new props.
