Well its time to give it some thought
The fishing changes every year
And we all have some thing we need to do to keep up or better yet GET AHEAD of the changes in the fishery
I think I will have to pull the world Cat Off the show room floor and re rig it for fishing next year
I kept it squeaky clean this year and it did not sell even at the super bargain price we put on it.
I will have to put it back in action with some new electronics including radar a full track system and may be a auto pilot some vector riggers some bottom paint
Who knows may be the BIG DOG will be back at the front of the pack next year GAURDING THE COOLER
WHATS ON THE DRAWING BOARD FOR YOUR TEAM?

Nice looking dog! It's the right color too Mine's sleeping at my feet right now.

Next season will be a detail cleaning of the entire boat inside & out. Its got 5 season on it now and I'm thinking I may let the dealer where I bought the boat do it. They are pricy, but do an awesome job.

I've got a few electronic goodies to install that have been sitting in a cardboard box for a few seasons now because they should solve problems that aren't serious but just annoying. One is a automatic trim-tab retractor (shut off the motor and the tabs come up automatically). This will prevent damage from fork trucks or when putting he on the trailer. The others are just electronic filters. I get a fainting pinging in my VHF when the autopilot is engaged. Sitting dockside with shore power connected and the battery charger running I get noise on the stereo. Like I said, they are minor annoyances not real problems.

Winter upgrades will depend on winter cash flow which at moment is way to low. However I am converting boat to Hyd steering with plans on a Autopilot in the spring. I am still trying to decide on how I want to change my Downrigger setup I know I want to change it just not sure what I am gonna do.I am also building a tower to add lights and rod holders with hopes of adding Radar in the future. I also am working on converting my Planer mast to electric and mounting it on the boat. Install the new stereo and make a few minor repairs. That should be enough to keep me busy and broke for the entire winter. Can't wait till time to fish again.
