Sailfish272 and I spent a great day out on Lk. St. Clair yesterday. It was the first time out on bigger water for the 18 Outrage and it handled it with ease. We launched at Metro Beach and headed out to the shipping lane for some walleye trolling. We were trolling Hot-N-Tots, and while we marked a lot of fish, we couldn't get anything to bite. The fish were all right at the edges of the shipping lane and down 15-25'...we kept zigzagging through there, but no luck. From the reports on the radio, no one was doing much better. After a while, we decided to cruise and took a tour of some of the islands to the north...very scenic. All in all, a great day on the water...no fish, but a lot of fun.
