Fishing out of Au Gres has been slow for myself. Just can't seem to find a concentration of fish. Lots of chatter on the radio of good fishing with harnesses. Couldn't get my harnesses going at all. Did catch 2 and lost a good one. I seem to only be catching the eyes on spoons, and one on a dipsy #3 setting with a double jointed rapala. Fishing will pick up as it warms up more. The northport nailer all american was the spoon that we had a good one on and missed.

Good Luck...

I fished Au Gres Monday the 2nd. We got our limits by 10am.
BB and harnesses was the ticket for us. Started in 28 fow and trolled w/ the waves to about 29 fow and would turn back around and hit the same waypoints. Mark on your GPS every time you see a good bunch of bait or fish and also when you have a hook-up. Stick with that area until the walleye shut down. Just a thought...My boat is 18 1/2 ft. long and I use a "Transom Mount" 46lb. thrust electric motor as my kicker!! You save a LOT of fuel and it's dead silent going over the fish. I prefer Minn Kota motors. I can keep my boat at 1.1 to 2.0 mph VERY easily. They cost about $350.00 over $2000.00 for a gas kicker.
