Hit Tawas bay for the first time ever on 8/30 and fished it on 8/31. Was in search for some walleye, but couldn't get any on. Did put together a recipe for catfish and steelhead. went 3 for 4. 2 cats, one steely and lost a nice walleye. 3 color leadcore with mi stinger scorpion chicken wing took the steely, wife reeled it in and had a ball. All hits came on 3,4, &5 color leadcore with mixed bag of spoons. Cats were pretty good sized, estimate the steely around 7-9#. Others on the radio sounded slow too.
