i caught fish on every thing i tossed out there this weekend. got some on blades (any color), hair jigs (any color), weight forwards, weapons, and even a couple on a 1/4 oz mimic minnow (similar to a sassy shad). they smashed that little mimic minnow and the 2 i got on it had the thing swallowed. those little lures look awesome in the water! the one guy i fish with a lot has been slamming them on a little squid looking grub in 1/2 oz. what other crazy lures have you guys been getting them on?

out east they are already slamming the hogs both at night and during the day. i can't wait to make a trip back to my roots!

Just a guess, but I'd say chrome/blue or chrome/purple would be good.

hahaha what kind of fish? being a high life cap i would have to believe sheephead

seriously though you really caught fish on a beer cap? haha thats funny but deinitly possible. a buddy of mine tied a glow bug egg (egg fly) out of a cigarette butt and caught a steelhead on it haha he called it the "nic egg"
