We were finally able to get out and do some steelie fishing. Ended up fishing around the 06/13 line, about 12 miles east of the harbor over 60 - 61 FOW.

Went 20 for 30 (roughly). Everything was working pretty good for us, except a number 2 dipsy? 40 on number 1, slide diver on 60 on a number 3. 5, 6, 3, colors of lead. Downriggers at 25 and 35 with sliders. Also caught fish on coho rigs. Fished from 7:00 until 12:00 approx. Speed was anywhere from 2.4 to 3.2. No eyes and 4 sheepies. Fish were hella big in size with a 7lb average I bet. Had one at 10, and few at 8+.

Awesome day. Cant wait for this weekend.

the bullet fishing is incredible....and for an hour and a half ride north...its worth the fuel! looking forward to our three day fishing festivus up there this weekend!!!

weather is shaping up for a nice weekend up there....

good spoons for us where jerry lee and blue dolphin...we tried a coho rig and a spindoctor/fly combo with success as well....we might try a j-plug and some squid this weekend just to mess around....

no more eyes for us until Sept I would imagine. have enough as it is!

Jerry - I'll get the pics of our trip to you when I get back in town the later part of this week. Thanks for the trip last Sunday and sorry I will not be bale to make it this weekend.
