Heard that they were catching perch a mile or two off shore from Toledo Beach and Luna Pier, so my friend Chuck and I gave it a shot yesterday. Found a few scattered boats in close, but no perch, so we moved out to E Buoy on advice from Matthews Bait. A number of boats were beyond E Buoy out in Ohio waters, but we decided to try it at E Buoy. SLOW is the word. Four hours = 16 perch (3 10"), a bazzilion sheepsheads, and one 3 lb. 10 oz. smallmouth. Chuck had fun with that on his new perch pole.

Beautiful day on the water, and a snack of perch.

BTW, three boats were trolling around us all afternoon, but I didn't see anyone land anything.
