Fished the Mi/Ohio line area east of toledo beach Marina this weekend. Put 9 nice chunky ones in the box sat, & filled 3 person limit sunday, pulling spoons/jet 20's 80ft back over 23-24 ft of water.
There was a small pocket of active fish that were hard to stay on top of, but we picked away at them. Sundays fish ran a bit smaller, with a lot of undersized eyes & silvers thrown in the mix.
There was a lot of weeds in the area sat, but they were mostly gone sunday. Was nice to not have to run all the way out to W. sister area!

Way to go! I'm all for sending less money overseas. Anytime someone gets them close in, it's almost patriotic! Say it again - Way to go guys.

I "should" have included.....they liked it faster Sunday.....3.oSOG was best for hits, but that speed made for "many" lost/barely hooked ones.....slower was no hits over marks/active waypoint, & faster was busier with more of undersized/silvers & lost MANY nice viewed/confirmed walleys thru the day!!!

The higher speed led to light/barely hooked fish, but made the bite action better, & kept us busier pickin' through to fill our quota!
Busier is better when your puttin' fish in the box tho......
It was a beautiful weekend to be on the Lake.....
