Did Anyone Fish?

What a beautiful weekend! I was hoping that I was the only one that didn't get a chance to fish. What happened?

I went to Huron OH saturday afternoon since the weathermen said the conditions were to improve throughout the day. I arrived to find drizzle and stiff NE winds. The perch charters that came in all had nothing good to show for the day.

Sunday morning was still breezy and since the prior day charters didn't do well I decided to just bum around town. Of course the perch charters returned sunday with limit catches. They are going 12 to 14 miles out for perch.

No word on good walleye catches for Huron Vermilion area. Hoping the walleye show up before haul out.

A friend did fairly well with perch near Kelly's on Sunday.

Thanks for the report. Interesting (if not discouraging) that the fishing is almost as bad in Ohio waters as it is in Michigan.

There's got to be a streak of good fishing before the boats come out. Anyone have a surefire fish dance?

Went out Sunday morning. 3 man limit was out in pack about 2 to 3 miles east of Turn around. Caught a lot more of small ones. Was a good day.

Limit of what? What did the water look like? It was terrible muddy Friday eve. there and everywhere. What other info can you give? Thanks.
