Mexico Bay?????

Anyone been fishing the mexico bay area.. A friend of mine has friends coming in from texas and I plan on taking them out for the browns on sunday 5/20... Last time I trolled that area It was 8 feet of water.. Still the same or should I move out a litte bit... I plan on starting around 5 in the morning.. should I try that 8 to 10 first thing then move out???? Just trying to get a couple of rods to fire to let these people have a good time... thanks for any help..
