Fair haven report 7/4-6/08

The fishing continues to improve in Fair Haven we only got out for 2 hours on the 4th. We went east and boated one fish while a friend slightly to the west went 6 for 9. On Saturday with a 2 boat trip we went slightly west. Teamed with Srewy Louies we went 7 for twelve on our boat and 7 for 14 on Brendan's boat. Our best waters were 180-230' in front of Blind Sodus. Bites came on mostly spoons in the am then mostly flies later in the day. Best spoons were NK frog and Savant Green Gold Alwife. Golden Girl e-chip with the A-Tom-Mik Hammer, Green Spin Doctor with the Green Crinkle A-Tom-Mik, and Mountain Dew e-chip with Crazy Btch A-Tom-Mik were the hot tickets with most action 85-110 on the riggers 280-300' on the wire 2.5 setting, and 500' copper all sharing equally in bites. Didn't get out Sunday.
